Such a creative take on Japanese cuisine with touches of influence fused in from other places. Extremely friendly staff, cool vibes, rad music taste, local vibe. This place rocks!

A hidden gem, should be a popular local food-and-bar spot among younger crowds? I found it randomly when browsing nearby places around my hotel, drawn in to it because of the Google reviews and the nice good photos. Outstanding experience. As a solo, non-Japanese visitor, the owner went out of their best way to make me feel welcome. They also have the English menu with the QR code, easy for ordering. The food and drinks were excellent—definitely worth visiting.

Outstanding experience from the moment we walked in the door. As non-Japanese speaking tourists, Yoko was very welcoming and helpful. The food was sensational - some of the best we’ve had in Japan so far! Highly recommend!

Great vibe, friendly staff and good food. The shrimp fritters, salmon tartar and cheesecake were outstanding. Sat at the sunken bar upstairs overlooking the kitchen which was nice. A cool hidden gem away from the touristy bars and izakayas in Pontocho Alley.

great bar and food - amazing atmosphere! Yoko is great! We ended up spending more time here than intended- had too good of a time to leave!
