銀座湯

サウナイキタイ　583（2025.10.11） ※ 近くに訪れたら行く価値のある優れた施設 京都大学附属病院の近くにある銭湯サウナ。 2020年にリニューアルされたこともあり、清潔感に溢れており、重ねて天井も高く、開放感がある。 中央にお風呂があり、角にサウナがあり、隣に水風呂と本当にシンプルな施設。 サウナは、対流式のストーブで110℃とかなり高温。湿度が高いことから、心地よく入れるものの、5分程度が限界なほどアツアツ。かなり高さがある1段式で、木の色使いがお洒落にコーディネートされている。流れる邦楽のJAZZが良く似合う。（最大5-6名） 水風呂は京都ならではの、地下天然水掛け流しの18℃。水量も多く、清潔感に溢れ、本当に心地良い。 やっぱり京都の銭湯は最高って、つくづく感じる。また、近くに寄った際は、利用させていただきます。 ※3連休初日の夕方にも関わらず、割と空いてており、意外と穴場かもしれない。

I spent part of grade 9 in Japan while my dad was on sabbatical in Kyoto. We used to walk to this public bath just around the corner from where my grandmother used to live. Nice to see that it is still going strong after many years. Small place but very clean.

Water might be too hot for some foreigners, but just right for me. It's not crazy hot like other sentos, but if you worry about the heat, u should choose 1 that more foreigners go to. 18° cold natural water from underground. 2 jet spas. Bath of day. & a sauna with the light fragrance of wood. Seems fairly new. Bath's not big, but only few people on Sun night at 6pm. One of the nicest in the city.

My favourite sento in kyoto. Love this sauna and water temperature is perfect. I’ve got a bunch of tickets for fully enjoy my time.
