A very complete onsen in Okayama, where there aren’t too many options available. You can relax, soak in the baths, eat, and rest. Payment is made at the end. The water doesn’t feel particularly rich in minerals, but it’s clean and well-maintained, perfectly enjoyable. Also, it’s foreigner-friendly! ✨

Very nice facility! The locker room are big with vending machine. There are many bath indoor and outdoor. I like the outside bath in winter time are the water was hot! (50°C) There is a restaurant inside. The bibimbap was good 👍

Review and guide for public bath beginners! Price: 850 yen for using the bathing area; additional charges for other services (massage etc) - I just used the baths. Review: The place is super modern and clean, with a bunch of facilities including a small restaurant, a tatami area, vending machines, massage options etc. The baths are up on the second floor (separate for men and women) and there are plenty to choose from (hot tubs, cold plunges, hot baths, warm baths, lay-down baths, jet baths). There’s an inside and outside area - even in the summer, the outside area was cool in the evening and perfect for bathing. There’s a sauna too, and plenty of showers with soap and shampoo etc. I spent two hours in the baths - it was a Saturday evening, and pretty busy, but not so much that couldn’t find spaces to bathe. I had the most relaxing time here after days of walking. Guide: the first time you use a public bath, it can be a little daunting. Here’s how this one works (most bigger bath houses have a similar process) You’ll arrive and take off your shoes, put them in a locker (100 yen, you’ll get it back later). The locker key is your wristband, which is where everything you buy/use will be charged. You can head straight up to the baths because you’ll pay for everything at the end on the payment machines. As soon as you get inside, find a locker and store your stuff and get naked! The only thing you’ll need to keep with you is a small towel and your locker key. There’s drinking water in the locker room (you’ll need it, you’ll get super hot). Be sure to shower off before using any of the baths. Enjoy the wide range of tubs. When you’re ready to go, dry off, get your things and head down to the payment kiosk. You can bring your own towel, or buy on there if you forget. Highly recommend this place. Public bath culture is super chill and relaxing, and very Japanese! It’s a shame we don’t have anything similar in the west.
