This hotel offers great value for money. I loved that we could wear the provided yukata to breakfast, which made it feel relaxed and home-like. Breakfast is the same each day, but the selection is still quite good. Our 44㎡ room had a separate bedroom and living area, which was perfect for two people. The thoughtful storage design and daily sleepwear were very considerate. The public bath is beautifully designed and a highlight of the stay. The only downside was the cotton pads provided in the public bath area. They tended to tear easily during use, leaving small bits of lint on the face that were inconvenient to remove. I believe this is an area that could be significantly improved Overall, I would still recommend this hotel.

Fantastic. I don't know if better hotels for the price. Super clean Onsen, with an outdoor part. Free laundry. Excellent breakfast. I love Dormy!

At first, we were a bit disappointed: we arrived at 1:30 pm, with check-in officially at 3:00 pm. The room was already ready, but there was still an “early check-in fee” of 2000 yen per hour – and we were charged for the full 2 hours, even though it was only 1.5. We’ve never experienced this in Europe, especially when the room is already prepared. On the positive side, the complimentary drinks and ice cream at certain times for hotel guests were a lovely touch, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The humidity in the room felt quite high. I’m sure the hotel does its best to manage it, but the carpet flooring naturally makes this a bit more challenging. Overall, a pleasant stay!

It's a short walk to Okayama station. The hotel onsen uses Pola and Refa products. Probiotics drinks are available in the morning, ice-cream, and ramen are available in the evening - all free. Beddings are comfortable and rooms are relatively spacious and very quiet. There are toiletries for kids. Some good restaurants within walking distance - should go once they open or they will fill up very quickly with customers. Make reservations for dinner. It's worth staying one night in Okayama, visit Kurashiki (30 min train) and Castle.

Overall an amazing place to stay. Really enjoyed staying in the Moderate Queen room, which is one of the more affordable options but is very spacious and comfortable. Great service and amenities. Great stuff included but some services have fixed hours so that's something to watch out for (Ramen 9:30 pm - 11 pm, sauna closed after 1 am, etc.) Lovely staff, but I felt like the male Japanese concierge should stop being so perfect because the other staff seemed to be left with not much to do. I have a hunch that his hobby might be drawing up blueprints.
