小江戸温泉 KASHIBA

It is so clean and new. It has a lot of different pools ( both indoor and outdoor) staff are very friendly. $10 per adult. So cheap Food is at reasonable price. The grape sorbet is so good. I will definitely come back if I have more time. It is around 80-90 min from Shinjuku. The common areas are spacious. They even have kid corners with computer games. Majority of guests are local.

While strolling around Kawagoe, I suddenly felt like going to an onsen and came across this place. The first thing that impressed me was the very affordable entrance fee—only 1,000 yen, which includes a large towel and a casual loungewear provided for use after bathing. The onsen offers both indoor and outdoor baths, with a variety of pools to choose from. There is also a cold bath and a sauna. In addition, the facility has a relaxation area and a restaurant. Overall, it was an onsen that exceeded my expectations by far.

Having lived in Japan for 6yrs now, this is one of the better onsens. There is a free shuttle bus to and from Kawagoe station. The onsen is clean and has good varieties of baths. Super clean and they have a store to shop around as well. It's easy to spend hours here. If you are visiting Kawagoe, I highly recommend coming here.

I had an absolutely amazing time at Koedo Onsen KASHIBA—it truly felt like a perfect escape from the busy city. The variety of baths, from silky smooth natural hot springs to carbonated and open-air options, left me completely relaxed. The sauna with its Auto Loyly system was spacious and calming, and the bedrock bath felt incredibly therapeutic. The entire place is beautifully designed, blending traditional Edo charm with modern comfort, and the wall art adds a unique cultural touch. I also loved the food—especially the dishes made with local ingredients and the sweet potato desserts, which were a delicious nod to Kawagoe’s charm. Every detail, from the ambiance to the friendly staff, made it a memorable and rejuvenating experience.

Yesterday is my first time to go here with friends and my daughter. I loved it . It was a nice and cozy place. Ambiance is beautiful and relaxing. Too much people come in and out . You should try and experience. The food is normal not bad . Staff was nice 👌 👍 Permanent tattoo and tattoo seals are not allowed. Mine , I covered it with tattoo foundation tape. so far they didnt noticed about it but i was a little worried 💦😅
