Great bath & sauna. Bath was 42.5’c & sauna had a fanning service

There are 1 hot bath and 1 cold bath and sauna! The sauna is really hot so you should be ready before. Also cold bath is around 10 degrees so it’s decent!

I’ve been to many saunas, but this one felt like training at a samurai dojo. The heat is intense — maybe because of the low ceiling, you feel like you’re melting in minutes. And the smell? It brought me right back to my high school judo club: a mix of sweat, wood, and nostalgia (whether you want it or not). The cold bath, however, is absolute heaven — freezing and refreshing, just what you need after surviving the “dojo sauna.” Plenty of chairs are available to relax, and the best part: tattoos are allowed, which is rare in Japan. I visited during Japan’s busiest holiday, Golden Week, on a Sunday at 10 AM, and it was surprisingly empty. If you want an unforgettable sauna experience with a good story to tell, this is your place.

I went to this onsen around 5:00am after a fun night at a club in Shibuya. Upon entry, I paid 1800 yens but I wasn’t informed about limited hour. When I left the sauna at 7:00am, I was asked to pay additional 2000 yens. I don’t think I was tricked but I wished somehow they informed me about the time limit when I came in.

Sauna Dojo in Shibuya is the perfect spot for an easy and refreshing sauna experience! Located right in Center Street, it’s super convenient for a quick sweat session.
