the pool is closed, for "1.5 year construction" according to the gym. can't imagine what they would construct inside with that long time. if the local government don't want to maintain public facilities, shall we pay less resident tax to them too?

Clean, organized and not too busy on weekdays. Short or no wait for smith machine and rack. Some ego lifters and weird oji-sans but try don't bother you (too directly); one stood in front of me while I was resting between sets on the ab crunch machine. He could have used any of the other two that were free - I stared back at him and eventually he went away. Cheap entry price.

I went on Tuesday morning and there were very few people. The lady at reception was very nice. For 400 yen you get 2h of facilities use. I used only gym; I did not have to wait to use machines/rack at all which was nice. All equipment is ver new and clean

Solid spot to workout as a tourist. 9th floor. 400 yen for day pass. 300 yen for shoe rental. You must have shoes you have not worn outside. So if you don't come with a 2nd pair of shoes you must rent theirs. The shoes were fine. If I was running it might have been an issue. No barbells. Dumbbells up to 35kg. Fair amount of machines. You can definitely get most muscle groups reasonable worked. Staff was friendly and informative. This was out of my way so I'll probably check out a different gym to look for a barbell and squat rack. Otherwise it's a good option.
