A good business hotel in Shizuoka

The location was perfect right by Shizuoka Station. I chose to stay here mainly for the daiyokujo (public spa). The women’s bath was smaller than it appeared on the website, but I still really enjoyed soaking in the big bath after a long flight. A lovely bonus was being able to see Mt. Fuji while bathing in the morning. The hotel itself was very modern and clean.

Within a minute or two's walk from Shizuoka station, this hotel offers very clean rooms, basic amenities, and wifi. If you need to be close to Shizuoka station, this hotel is an excellent choice if you are ok with a Japanese business hotel. Although the rooms and bathrooms are small, this is typical for a business hotel, and they have the basics. The room had a bottle of fabric freshener for clothes, good (free) wifi, TV plenty of sockets (Japan style only), and one small free bottle of water. As is usual in many business hotels in Japan there was no safe. Although there was no storage space, there were rails and hangers for clothes. The bathroom was a 'unit bathroom' - small but very clean. Checkin was smooth and quick, with several staff on hand. Breakfast was unusual (a little disappointing TBH), in that there was only a small selection of sandwiches and soups provided in the lobby/ lounge area. Usually I'd expect a western/ Japanese (miso soup and fish) choice, but that wasn't the case here (at least on my visit). Also, note that this lounge area gets closed off late night.

I love this hotel! It’s quite basic but it has everything you need, even air freshener for your clothes. The room is quite spacious compared to Tokyo business hotel. They also have a bathtub in the room but we never use it because there is public bath on the top floor. The amenities at public bath were great, they provide Japanese brands like Kose sekkisei and I’m surprised to see Dyson hair dryer! Seems like you can see Mt Fuji when the weather is good but we didn’t get to see it. It is located within 5 mins walk from Shizuoka Station, has convenient store near by and also Torikizoku (Izakaya) which I recommend! Will definitely stay here again when I’m in Shizuoka city.

You need to bring your 3rd vaccine card otherwise you can't have bigger discount. They have sky spa in the 14th floor. The place was good. The room was spacious unlike hotels I went before. But they are a bit strict when it comes to vaccine and you need to write down information who are with you as well.
