❄️☃️We visited Nagano Forest Village during winter and had an amazing time trying the toboggan tubing—such a fun and exhilarating experience sliding down the snowy slopes! It’s perfect for a group of friends, with lots of laughter and excitement all around. ⛄️ The scenery is absolutely beautiful. The peaceful lake surrounded by snow-covered trees creates a very relaxing atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy both adventure and nature at the same time. The restaurant offers a wide variety of food options, all of which were delicious. The building itself is also nicely designed, blending well with the natural surroundings. Practicality-wise, there’s plenty of parking available, and it’s conveniently located close to a bus stop, making it very accessible. The staff were incredibly accommodating and polite, always happy to help with our enquiries. Special mention to Reoma, who was exceptionally hospitable. We had a very fun chat with him as he shared his stories and positive energy, which truly added to our experience. He is smart, warm, and a great asset to Nagano Forest Village. Overall, it was a fantastic day trip for a snow play experience. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nagano in winter!

Relatively new glamping resort with restaurant, gift shop, washrooms. Next to the small lake, you can rent paddle boats on. Also, zip line for kids. The area close to izuna ski hill

Be carefull, there is no shower! We’ve been dissapointed with this information. It’s quite clean and nice location, but prices in the restaurant is quite expensive (High season) And there is no place where to chill nonstop. Kitchen is just pizza oven and nothing else (for example kettle or microwave) Maybe good for families with little children but that all. But tomatoes from Marke are delicious :)

Really nice place to camp with family. There are bungalows and a free site. Only 300 yen per person for the free site. Extra fee for putting up a tent. Parking is free. There is a huge outdoor playground with zipline across the lake if you walk up further. Not far from central Nagano City so it’s very convenient. They also have a small market inside for locally produced vegetables. They even sell local craft beers. A restaurant and bar is available too but only until a certain hour. The toilets are super clean. They have an oven for making pizza too.

love this place.. best view with the river. if it is raining climate change to the cold and mist is beginning in the morning even in the summer. 3000yen per per one tent on your own, in 2020year. if you want they provide you tent, cover, chairs, charcoal and many with a price. no electricity but have free water with clean toilet. they have jungle cabins and adventure activities with an extra price. kids friendly. forigners are welcome.
