琉球温泉 龍神の湯

Expensive but the best onsen experience we have ever had. 2000 yen for an adult and 1000 yen for a child under 13. They provide towels and lockers and the 100 yen put into shoe lockers is refundable. They have several nice pools on each side. The indoors one was the kids favourite (likely because the water looked purple - left side - or brown - right side). The soap and shampoo in the showers smells lovely. We weren't able to handle the saunas or cold plunge pools for long on either side but the salt one on the left side was the best for us. Outdoors, the rock pool on the right side was great. They had 3 one person barrels on each side which were lovely and finally the deep pool was very nice. Not too deep for our kids to go into but it'll depend on the individual child's height. My favourite were the deep pools as they each have a view of the Naha air strip and they have soft feeling rocks on the ground (I assume to have some positive reflexology effect?). Our favourite place in Okinawa and we went twice to see each side!

Amazing view of the plane landing on runway on the sea. Easy transportation just right oppostie the bus stop(Umikaji terrace). 2000 JYP for one day onsen. There are 3 main baths ; indoor , rock bath and deep bath. Also, cold bath, sauna especially aroma sauna which salt was provided for scrubbing. I spend around 2.5 hours here. Really loved this onsen, indoor and outdoor. Outdoor view can see Aeroplane landing, beautiful, amazing, 100% relaxing especially after a long flight, and drive here. Take a break. After that soaking, you can scroll along the Terrace side for food and more view. Use facilities first, pay later. Female and male is separated. Highly recommended.

Recommended! The onzen got nice views! Water quality is ok, can’t expect too much as the source is totally different. They offers massage at a reasonable price, facilities are good too. Not many (ill) foreign tourists (kudos!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻) Will definitely visit again, one of my favs in Okinawa. (The bath scrub that they sell at the counter is really good!)

Don’t miss it if you like hot spring. Ryujin is a great place to go for relaxing and beauty. We love here!!! (Naked hot spring, if you’re shy person may not fit you)
