There’s a more recent staff(possibly named Joel)who’s actually quite unsympathetic with returning guests. He’s a clear foreign staff. It’s like he didn’t believe what had changed and he could only speak as though he wanted to flout his authority and show that he’s superior and as though he would want to win arguments for the sake of it. Seems quite an insensitive guy. Definitely one to avoid at front desk. He might seems the one to go to for speaking English, but it’s better to go to one of the local staff, especially one who’s been there a longer time.

Have stayed here on multiple occasions. Advice for returning guests who’ve stayed before May 2025. Of course, really happy to see Ryo Sakamoto, Takumi Sakamoto & Lee at front desk again. Also Hayashibara and Kobayashi in the restaurant. Changes have resulted in PROS, but more CONS. GOOD changes: Renovation- Nicely done & the lounges look good. Security&Lockers- Bigger lockers than before & wristbands now needed to enter your sleeping area. BAD changes: Food and Drink- Outdoor Food and Drink no longer allowed anywhere within the whole building. Check-in/out- If staying consecutive nights, there were blackout periods of 10am-12pm where we must leave the premises. It is now 10am-3pm. Luggage Storage- Storing luggage on day of check-in/out no longer permitted. Laundry- Complimentary washing powder is no longer provided to do laundry. Price-More expensive. Staff-Sadly, many of the other previous staff(were nice ones too) have gone. Regretfully not happy overall as this can be disappointing for someone who used to enjoy the benefits from before. Changes have resulted in more restrictions. However, this depends on what you expect and if it’s worth it. Personally would happily have given 5 stars ratings before, but not right now.

Can’t get enough of this place. Loved the capsules and mostly the 3 floor bath area with pool, 4 saunas, steam rooms, ice baths, jacuzzis, and whatnot. The taste of the restaurant was also great. I recommend booking online from trip.com or booking.com in advance, it can save you a lot.

I love it here. Though many guests come and go everyday, the place is so organized. I snored loud in deep sleep after a hot bath. A male only place where you can go naked if you feel comfortable. The bath is really a Japanese setup where everybody washes his body unminding everyone around. It has organized lockers, capsule rooms, hot bath, sauna, living room, rest room and body treatment facilities. It also offers food.

I have been coming here off and on since 2020. This is my go-to onsen. (Capsule hotel also!) Best service and superior variety. Not crazy like SpaWorld. Highly recommend.
