Conveniently located on the main street, a short 10-min bus ride from the station. The pod was very comfortable and spacious- the best I had on my trip. Felt luxurious. The showers and onsen bath are in the basement and they provide free pajamas. The breakfast was a packed meal from a bakery - great to start off the day. Lot of restaurants and convenience stores are located nearby. One can walk or take a bus to all major sightseeing points.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The downsides are that I was given a corner room, which was such a hassle when I was trying to get to the bathroom and toilet, and the bed was so hard—it might be the hardest bed I’ve used in Japan 🤣 Not just the bed, though; they also provide the hardest bolster ever. And I still don’t get why, because it was kinda annoying. The rock-hard bolster took up the bed space, but I couldn’t even use it… BUT I love the sauna and hot bath. When I was staying here, I didn’t have any chance to encounter any guests, and I was the only one who used the facilities, so it felt like I was having my own private hot pool. And the hotel location is so convenient! There’s a bus stop in front of the hotel. I was walking around most of the time from the hotel because the distance between the hotel and the tourist spot was not too far for me. I was contemplating staying here again if I were to visit Kanazawa again, but I saw that they have a room with a softer bed 🤣 so of course I’ll definitely stay here again ❤️

Really enjoyed our stay at Torifito. We stayed in a premier room and it was incredible, huge space and comfortable beds. Great location, bus stop right outside went on the Kanazawa loop for tourists as well as direct to station. Walking distance to gardens and castle, and one of our trip highlights. Stylish and comfortable hotel. Note that washrooms are on the basement floor, and require changing lifts at the front desk floor (2). Slightly embarrassing experience entering the lobby in my bathrobe, but hey ho.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay: the space was clean and comfortable. However, there’s definitely room for improvement. The biggest inconvenience was the shower setup: the showers are not on the same level as the pods, and reaching them requires changing two elevators. It would be much better if the showers were located on the same floor or if access didn’t involve such a complicated route. Aside from that, everything else was enjoyable.

Very nice economical place to stay when you're alone. It is pretty safe for a place where you don't have a locked door. You need a key card to access the floor plus a keycard to enter the pod area and there is only same sex people staying in the same area so don't worry about safety. You have a small place to lock your important stuff and they have the option of getting a lock for your luggage. There is private showers in the common lavatory area in the basement which is nice if you don't want to be naked in front of everyone. There is a lounge open 24h/7 so you can bring your own food and eat, study or work. The onsen is also open all night which is nice. The pods are really clean and you have your own private TV, make sure to bring earphones to plug to the wall if you wanna watch it with sound. The only thing I didn't like is the curry. It would have been nice to inform that it would be just sauce and rice, no vegetables, no meats. I was a bit surprised to see that. I would recommend more to eat at the konbini right next to the hotel instead. Staff are also really nice. Thank you for the stay! I will definetly come back! ☺️🤗
