5件I accidentally stumbled on this place as there was a bar/restaurant in the same building and didn’t realize I got off on the wrong floor. The staff was incredibly rude and laughed and talked about me in my face, rather than kindly rerouting me. Please note also this is a MENS ONLY spa.
Place has bed bugs. I stayed here a few nights, on the last night I was here I had bed bug marks. It obviously came from here. Staff offered to dry my stuff, but refused any kind of refund etc after ruining my day to dry my items. If you don't mind the above possibly happening to you - the staff are very friendly, and the location is great.
I only went here for the sauna and baths. I don’t usually write reviews but this experience was incredible. I’m not sure how the woman’s area is (maybe check other reviews by some girls if you’re a woman) but for the men it was amazing. Multiple hot baths, cold baths and two saunas for a reasonable hourly rate. There’s a relaxation area and a hot pool outside overlooking Osaka city. They don’t accept tattoos unfortunately, so it’s a little bit out of date in that regard, but if you’re not tattoo’d then I highly recommend trying out the bath house. Other than the no tattoo policy, all else was perfect.
It’s a good place if you’re a man… the onsen and sauna are good if you’re a man because they’re only available for men, yet the women’s room cost more… and the lounge room for the women is actually just the reception.
Stay away from this place! We booked via Booking 2 weeks in advance for 2 capsules. No where on the hotel page did it say "no body tattoos allowed" We arrived after a long day at Universal Studios and just wanted to rest. We then say the sign stating no tattoos allowed, we thought it was just for the onsen/spa part of the place. We were unfortunately surprised to find out that it was total entrance to the hotel. We were not allowed to stay at the hotel we booked in advance because of tattoos. If it was stated clearly on the hotel page in booking, I could understand. I realize Japan has cultural differences when it comes to tattoos. However, it wasn't stated, and it really turned the evening sour scrambling for a new place to stay. Luckily, we found Kamon Hotel, which, to be honest, is much nicer, cheaper, and does not discriminate people with tattoos.
