Outstandingly gorgeous views during the day, and lying in the hammock to view the stars at night is also incredible! Listening to the ocean sounds inside and outside of the tent was honestly the best part. It’s miles better than many hotels I’ve stayed at, and the meal service was very convenient and easy to set up. Please go!

Wow. What a totally wonderful experience my husband and I had here on our honeymoon. The location is stunning: connected but remote. The tents are gorgeous: comfy beds with great A/C or heating. The food is unbeatable: the BBQs and the breakfast picnics are divine and everything is so well thought through. The staff and service are top notch. There's a sauna, a bar till lights out, stairs down to a private beach. Top tip: arrive early on check-in so you can get time to get settled and enjoy your first evening's food. Also: try and arrive in the day time as access is less clear in the dark. Basically: you need to walk past the shrine and along the beach.

Wow, this place is amazing! Spent 2 nights of our honeymoon here and I'm so glad we did!! Easy to get to with direct buses but feels quite secluded with incredible ocean views. All food was included - we were blown away by the unique experience of breakfast picnics and evening BBQs. The service and facilities were excellent! We used the sauna which they book for you on arrival at no extra cost.

I booked one night stay via Trip.com including dinner and breakfast. On the day before we managed to contact hotel and was told dinner is served 5-9pm. We asked as we were expecting to arrive after 7pm. However both the car park and camp site were very difficult to find. As a result after we settled in it was almost 8pm. My family who could speak a little Japanese returned to the car as she left her phone in the car. (By the way the way to car park has no light and is about 8-10 minutes walk). Just when I was expecting a BBQ meal the staff told me my plan has no dinner! I showed him the booking and he agreed. However he kept using the translator to tell me “they needed additional time to prepare the ingredients” and I would have to pay for it. I asked can they not give us something simple? He could not understand. We didn’t want to walk back to the car again and there was nothing in the area that was open so we ended up skipping dinner. Later that night I complained to the booking agent online. It took Trip.com 6 days to negotiate a refund of less than US$20! What a waste of time! And also we were told the lamp in the tent would go off at 10pm but it never did. My family could not sleep in the lit tent even with eye mask on. Not going to glamping anymore I guess!

Undoubtedly, it’s an exceptional place in terms of location and views. However, there are a few issues that definitely need improvement. If you’re planning to swim, be aware that painful jellyfish stings can happen — I experienced it myself. Even though they are aware of their presence, there’s no information about it either at the beach or at the reception. On top of that, they’re not prepared for such incidents, so you have to go to a pharmacy or doctor on your own. That shows quite a bit of negligence, especially since habu jellyfish do occur in these waters. Another issue is the humidity and smell inside the tents. This may be due to the air conditioners or the lack of their maintenance. Either way, there’s definitely room for improvement. The nicest tents are located at the very top
