My favorite onsen on Honshu island! Two different sauna types, cold plunges, outdoor onsen, electro water therapy all for 900y

林檎の湯屋 おぶ～　Super Public Bath is the top onsen I have visited in Japan. The multiple bath layout is large. Inside there is hot bath, cold bath, waterfall bath, electric bath. The sauna averages 90C with ability to pour water for steam. The heat is intense which is preferred. The outside bath has healing properties for anti-aging and other ailments. There are round basin baths hot and cold. There are many lounge chairs for resting. There is a stone bath to lay down. As for the massage, it is strong. The men and women are license practitioners. Ms. Sayuri was kind and gently fixed my neck and back problem while using strong massage techniques. The oil massage is certainly worth it. The rates are more reasonable than most large establishments. The restaurant has local food including soba and tempura. It was AMAZING! I will go again today on business. 宜しくお願いします！！！！！

A large public onsen. When we arrived it was crowded and that took a bit away from the experience. I don't really connect with the public estimate. But I recommend going anyway because it was pleasant there.

Lovely experience! Went with my sister and my mom and had an amazing time. Many different bath options, showers available and super friendly staff. Most of the staff don’t speak English but we got by. Very clean, water got tested multiple times during the period we were there. Both outdoor and indoor options

I absolutely loved the onsen here! ❤️ It’s spacious, with two sauna rooms and plenty of parking as well. If you're in the area and looking for a relaxing onsen, I highly recommend this spot. You’re sure to fall in love with it too!
